Just having a beer, 07 Mar 2020Unlocking the phone when you are sleeping...? I think that is one of the most pointless issues... moreEasier to hold a phone over someone's face when they're sleeping than grabbing their arm and positioning their finger on the scanner without waking them up.
Unlocking the phone when you are sleeping...? I think that is one of the most pointless issues reported in the device. You can have the same issue with fingerprint. Someone can unlock it when you sleep, or when you are drunk. But yeah, great for cherry picking...

They were great devices during that time. After that, they just started delivering sub par products and charging a premium for the same.

Even then, your finger might not even be exposed that much when you're in your sleeping position, so the thief must move your hand in order to get your registered finger to unlock the phone, and if you wouldn't wake up when someone does that, then you're definitely dead already.
Bought a P4XL because I like the minimalist design and stock experience but I returned it after a week. Too many compromises. Google always seem to miss the mark. P2XL had junk oled display, P3XL had bathtub notch and ram throttling, P4XL has no fp scanner, unsecure face ID and medicore battery life. Google seem to think that because Apple gets away with low specs they can do the same...
Pixels are overpriced, underpowered with half baked software.
Why don't Google make a reasonably priced flagship with modern design, SD card support, headphone jack, etc..
Why this need to challenge Samsung and Apple with devices that are so poor.

Seems too early. Why not do it with Pixel 5? With SD865/875 down locked to 2.5 - 2.3 GHz. That sure would be the perfect 'Android as Google intended.'
NotAnOpinion, 07 Mar 2020How embarrassing, but why should Android users be suprised, right?
We are using much more secure methods of unlocking our phones, not forced to use face unlock like iPhone coz of the lack of fingerprint scanner.
I wonder who bought the pixel 4XL since it's the worst Android flagship from 2019.
What boggles me is the fact that a Software Giant like Google missed a trivial necessity in any secure face unlock feature. This has been present in Android for years now.
G This pixel phones are Hopeless.
