Their tech specs are similar to all other phones. They just have "gaming" looks and a gimmick like high touch sampling rate for garbage mobile games filled with in-app purchases.

WHY do these companies almost always pick these really Cringe images to highlight their products?!
I know many assume that the bar is set too low because: gamers, adolescent boys, braggarts usually have that one overlapping section on a Venn diagram. But seriously, who in their right minds thought that some female model twisting in with half her body missing...from the right side of the screen...in space...using supposedly Sci-Fi shades...with planets overlapping in some photoshop hackjob...should be greenlit for PR push?

Whackcar, 09 Mar 2020This is some serious hardware. Blacktuna 3 will be dead on arrival. The Blackshark 2 (also ROG Phone 2) is more popular than the Red Magic in my country. My country has lots of budget-conscious people who demand highest specs at lowest price possible (many like to game). ZTE's customer and aftersales support is just too limited. Prices of second-hand phones here just plummets too much, not to mention it's a tough sell (seen one selling a Red Magic Mars for months in Marketplace and never gets sold).

Monster the RM 5G may be, that'll be the one dead on arrival. Unless it's got some brand image like Xiaomi or Oppo.
