Sensors + lenses + other hardware (OIS, ISP, Processor etc) + Computational Photography algorithms all contribute to the final image quality. Sony has great sensors, but is lousy at putting together a good camera.

The engineers deserve the credit here and not Foxconn. But it's like you'd call me an innovator because I bought something I had no involvement whatsoever except for ordering it. Happy to see they got color temp sensor, should help a bit with yellows. Bigger sensor could also mean their iso will break records again. Will be fun, mainly if they compare camera with competition while shooting cats and dogs.
