Sensors + lenses + other hardware (OIS, ISP, Processor etc) + Computational Photography algorithms all contribute to the final image quality. Sony has great sensors, but is lousy at putting together a good camera.

Happy to see they got color temp sensor, should help a bit with yellows. Bigger sensor could also mean their iso will break records again. Will be fun, mainly if they compare camera with competition while shooting cats and dogs.
