Anonymous, 10 Mar 2020You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
MicroLED is exactly like OLED. Onl... moreWrong!!!
Microled are way bigger than oled, thats y it cant match oled.
Realms 6 Pro Will Beats this phone easily, actually R6P will launch as soon as possible in Indonesia n..yeahh
Fish in a Barrel., 10 Mar 2020You're wrong tho. Like totally wrong,
https://www.tomsguide.com/us/micro-led-faq,review-528... moreI'm not wrong
Like I keep repeating myself
It's either manufacturers will use it full emissive
OR
They will use in in backlight Full array backlight..
I've yet to see you disprove that arguement did you even watch the video I posted??????
Read with comprehension
IpsDisplay, 09 Mar 2020Your are technically incorrect
Micro led is neither like OLED or LCD
Only it's IMPLEMENT... moreYou have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
MicroLED is exactly like OLED. Only difference between them is LED materials. End of the story.
You are obviously confusing it with MiniLED. Like somebody already told you.
MiniLED LCD is not good as OLED at the black levels, but way better than traditional LCD of course.
There is two different LCD tech can possibly challeng OLED. First tech implements MiniLED with back LCD panels, and the other uses regular backlights with an LCD panel with an extra layer of light modulator.
Use your brain, if you use less than full resolution of LEDs as backlight, despite the local dimming some light will leak from a single layer of liquid crystal. And result of that, black won't be true black but a darker tone of grey.
If you can implement as many LEDs as the full resolution, what's the use of liquid crystal light modulator?
And those two tech is only available for TV sizes yet. Two things combined maybe it can rival to OLED and MicroLED both.
Size defines the difference between MicroLED and MiniLED BTW.
AhmedHNY, 10 Mar 2020That's true !! In my opinion , i prefer the 720G due to its better cpu performance and it c... moreIts efficient.U will not understand the differemce now but after 2-3 year u will able to see the difference where the 720g will have a better performance as its efficiwnt and it very slightly slower in gpu and thats fine.
And those who are shouting for realme 6 pro let me remind u that poco x2 is better than the relame 6 pro.So if u need a better phone than 9pro go with a poco x2.And yes a sony sensor is way better than samsung.A sony 48mp sensor will be good enough
Redmi Note 9 Pro Max could pack quad rear cameras and the MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC
AnonD-454049, 10 Mar 2020The 720G has a faster cpu than G90T but a slower gpu as evidenced by the fact that it can't ha... moreThat's true !!
In my opinion , i prefer the 720G due to its better cpu performance and it consume less battery because its an 8nm.
CompactPhones5ever, 10 Mar 2020- No OLED display - No 90Hz refresh rate - Chipset on par or even worse than previous genera... moreYeah oled should have been their. But stop shouting about 90hz display u will not be able to see any difference and yes please use a note 8pro u will understand that 720g is better.Mediatex processors are only good in papers but in real life at starting they will be fine but after some days problem will start to arise. So for me 720g is on par or better than that helio g90t.And a ONLY 48mp sensor is enough if its of sony.Even samsung so called 64mp sensor is not that good so go for quality not number
I have a redmi note 8 pro and yes the g90t is good on paper but is not efficient at all and it became slow and my phone actually hangs though storage is 15gb free.720g is a great processor atleast its of qualcom and yes a sony 48mp sensor is better than samsung 64mp sensor. The front camera is a disapointment its only 16mp it should have been higher. And at last if it costs 14k then the features are ok and being a new chip the price of 720g will be higher than that of the older processors.
- No OLED display
- No 90Hz refresh rate
- Chipset on par or even worse than previous generation
- "Only" 48MP camera
- "Beast design" being advertised as a main selling point (even though it's completely relative, either I like the design or not, you can't tell me what am I supposed to like, wtf Redmi)
This is either:
- Redmi Note 9 (non-Pro), or
- The biggest disappointment in the entire Redmi lineup
Seems to me the Note series is their mid-range now.
I think redmi note 9 will not use snapdragon 720g because in the previous generation redmi note 8 pro use helio g90t
Which is always compared to snapdragon 730g phone
It only make sense if it's note 9... Otherwise big disappointment
I didn't think it is right specifications of redmi note 9 pro because of it didn't beat real me 6 pro
Anonymous, 09 Mar 2020A worst OLED is a million times better than the best LCDAre you that same guy who says that same thing whenever a new phone is released.
Same when realme 6 and 6 pro came and a guy said the same thing so please grow up.
I guess if you want better camera, you have to get the MI Note 10, otherwise Redmi note 9 is a decent basic phone. The pricing will decide its fate.
If features are same then 9 series is a Disappointment ..
AnonD-454049, 10 Mar 2020It's definitely for worse. It's unnecessary and wastes Xiaomi's time and moneyI don't mind if they selling for same price with better spec. Worse for them in R&D and manufacturing, better for consumer. But if price is higher every refresh, than better to stick to 1 refresh per year.
disappointing......but depend on price at release
And will this need Mi authorized account to remove hardbrick as redmi note 8 pro ?
