We're talking about market value.

5% market share for Apple generates US$13 billion in revenue for apple (2020Q1 figures), then 40% market share for Huawei translates to US$104 billion in revenue for Huawei assuming ALL their phones sell at half the price of Apple's phone.

Yeah, that's how big the China market is. Sorry if the maths sprained your mind.

I think you don't need to worry how the rich makes their money. There's a reason they are getting richer, and you're here at this forum.

KebabSLO, 10 Mar 2020Wrong. Many of us wouldn't mind thicker phones with a really high battery capacity. He's not wrong. He said the average consumer. That said, their are a few assumptions in there. I'd say the majority of people have grown accustomed to thinner phones. But, I personally, like you and many others here, would be happy with thicker phones if it improved battery sizes. Back in the day, many phones were much thicker, but they were also smaller in some of the other dimensions.

Lets wait and see. Many phones were advertised for their camera abilities and didnt deliver.

For such a device, designed, pardon, copied in China, even with OS support, the price should be at least three times below that of an iPhone. And as far as I know it's not gonna be the case with this device. Soo...how many do the expect to sell? 10-100? :)))

Bumps are making a statement cause camera sensors are getting larger and the camera lenses (one of the most overlooked components) are getting better (while not compromising quality for slimness). Better lenses improve image quality way more than we estimate.

It's coming out to be quite the Photography marvel. If it beats the iPhone 11 for video as well, it has easy access to social media, and is priced better than the S20 Series, I may pick up one of these.
