Therefore the Pocophone F2 is going to follow this soon enough.
There will be two versions (both versions are 5G):
1. The Redmi K30 Pro 5G (SD865) with simpler camera setup;
2. The Redmi K30 Pro 5G (SD865), better camera setup with optical zoom.
Still the most shitty software I've ever seen. Bought K20 Pro. I barely used it for 3 months and sold it. They need major changes in the software department
Tonight I woke up in the morning and I think if K30 Pro will be priced similarly like K20 Pro I'll buy it.
Mykl.Pluto, 10 Mar 2020Loool, hold your horses bro.I think it would be better to tell that to companies aiming for monthly releases of smartphones. /s
hmmm might get it if it has headphone jack, would be great if it has 90hz display too
Hopefully it will keep the headphone jack, micro SD and IR blaster from the regular K30
Disclaimer : I got my specs from Kimovil who probably have a temporary sheet for this phone, so I may totally be wrong on some features and specs.
Really nice to see they still have the pop up camera !
Also a 4700mAh battery is really nice, in 2019 the 4000mAh battery was the new standard, in 2020 it will be 4500 with 5000 at end of year (yes I know that some 2020's already have 5000mAh battery, but I talk about the average for the flagships).
A flat display is also nice to see ! Though the choice of LCD will make many peoples angry (and many other happy).
Its nice that they also host an underdisplay fingerprint reader !
I personally would have prefer if the pop up had 3D facial recognition (It would have try to buy it ASAP) and if they used an ultrasonic underdisplay fingerprint reader rather than an infrared one through an LCD which based on their video is quite slow for a 2020 flagship fingerprint reader.
Appart from that it is nice to see all the awesome feature he have :
*P2i Nano coating which despite lack of official IP rating will make it really good at surviving against rain and accidental water drop (though I won't try the high pressure water jet on it as it repeal but don't lock out, at least officially).
*Gorilla Glass 5 (the 6 would be better, but the 5 is already awesome enough to not complain)
*Notification led ! (since it don't have an Oled display, it probably don't have Always On Display except if it do like LG, so a notification led is a great compensation)
*SD card slot, though some peoples would complain that it don't have 2 dedicated sim + SD it is already nice as many phones lack SD card slot.
*Nice camera with optical zoom and stabilisation.
*Wi-Fi 6 even if a Wi-Fi 6E ready antenna set would've been great.
*Nice updated satnav suite with BeiDou B1, Galileo E1+E5a and GPS L1+L5, the lack of GLONASS L1 isn't that dramatic, though for a flagship it wouldn't been nice.
*NFC which I can't believe some smartphone still lack in 2020...But its nice that they included it !
*Audio Jack port, that even if some will say that it is useless or other stupid arguments, is really nice to have considering that even of Hi-Fi environment the Jack is still a indispensable item, and it allow many headphone/headset to be plugged in without any adapter who prevent from charging.
The only thing other than 3D facial recognition and ultrasound fingerprint reader that I found missing in this phone is wireless charging...
Even though it lack my two most critical features, it still is a great smartphone, and if no smartphone is released with a feature set that match more my tastes, I'll probably buy this one at the end of 2020 to replace my OnePlus 6t !
Edit : I speculate that it will have the LCD's infrared underdisplay scanner but there are lot of chances it won't and rather just use a classical optical one.
Heyyy, two no-notch phones announced in one day. Now we're talking.
