LG Superfan, 11 Mar 2020No SD865 and 5G modem are seperate just like on SD855Qualcomm sells X50 modem bundled with SD865.
And for LTE versions, Qualcomm still ships the SD865 with the X50 modem but it's disabled.

Anonymous, 11 Mar 2020I prefer Oxygen OS way more than OneUI, so for some people it's still worth it. All Android skins are great and on par with each other in 2020.
Some skins might be better than the others in certain departments but then they quickly loose their edge in some other department.
So UI shouldn't be a dealbreaker for ppl in 2020.

Well, sansung have all those proprietary apps that you can't uninstall plus their own store... i want my phone as clean as pssible with no tash sucking up the battery, so, Oxygen OS is one big factor for me...

OnePlus tries to get attention with gimmicks, cuts corners and usefull features yet rises to top flagship prices.
No SD card slot, average battery, bad audio playback quality and literally horrible recording microphones quality and most importantly midrange level camera performance.

OnePlus 7 Pro was already 800 Euros in EU, its just not worth it when they focus more on gimmicks and not actuall useful features and quality.

S8 9.0, 11 Mar 2020that 5g is uselessNo it's not. Some countries do have it & it's expanding all the time.

I'll have a 5G phone by the end of the week, even though I don't have 5G where I live at the moment, but it'll come. The nearest towns either do have it or will get it shortly.

And as I usually keep my phone for 3 years before I update, I see it as a way of future proofing for the next 2½ years at least, when I will start looking at getting a new one.

The point of Chinese phones was that they were significantly cheaper. With everyone ramping up prices to insane levels, one may just as well go with expensive "established" brands...

Come on Oneplus, please make a cheaper device. I mean a smaller device with flagship chipset, no extravagant camera or hundreds of hertz display. Even Samsung has s10 lite.
