For about 2 years now OP prices are leveling out to be similar to other flagships. The flagship killer identify is dead and buried yet they still get away with skimping on Water Resistant (Midrange gets it since Xperia M2 Aqua 2014 and these days atleast Resistant coatings).

Everyone is riding on the 5G marketing gimmick but in reality most of the countries still have an unstable 4G networks.
Save our money for at least a year more then buy the new usable 5G phone model on a 5G equipped network.

You don't have to pay Qualcomm extra for that.
In other markets, Qualcomm ships with 5g modem disabled.

Yeah, recent info said that SD 865 is around $130 just for the chipset which is twice of the last SD 855 and then to use 5G you have to pay Qualcomm again for antennas to be able to utilize the mmWave. Don't expect some cheap flagship on this generation tbh.

Just SD865/5G adds $90 compared to SD855.
Then new version of other components.
