joe nodden, 12 Mar 2020Bruh how. That thing is obsolete at this point.I use the iPhone 6+ and it works fine even in 2020. Remember, iOS works differently to Android and offers an almost perfectly smooth experience even on old hardware.
Not to mention that iPhones are flagships when they launch, turn to midrangers in their third year of life, and finally become low end after their 5th year of life has passed. That's why Apple offers 5 years of updates.
Instead of releasing low-end hardware that is obsolete in a matter of two years after launch, they instead bring out the best of the best hardware that is relevant for at least 5 years.
Think of it as:
- cheap, single-use, plastic bags = Android
- expensive, organic hemp fiber bags that last for years = iPhone

Honestly, in my opinion, it is not a smart thinking for Apple to launch iPhone9 as it will not make big profit for Apple.

Apple would need to be severly... moreC'mon now, there's no need to mock Apple just because of a naming scheme. Sure, iPhone SE 2 sounds nicer but iPhone 9 makes sense. It's succeeds iPhone 8 while iPhone SE succeeds iPhone 5S. It's also much easier to pronounce than the current iPhone lineup. iPhone X and above is for the notched (and soon enough notchless) bezelless family. Sony's naming is hella weirder.

Good. Apple needs to look ahead, not regurgitate designs and fool their sheep into buying crapware.
Anyone else starting to get allergic to the iPhone "9" moniker? Apple would need to be severly brain damaged to name it "9" when 10 and 11 are already out, with 12 on the way.
"SE2" is such an obvious and beautiful name it makes me want to buy it despite being android user my entire life (the real reason is that there're no compact android phones but still... F*ck Apple if they call it "iPhone 9" :D)
