Meh not interested in a traditional handset with clicky plastic buttons.
Rather wait for upcoming iPhone 12 series, which will hit the S20 hard in the *ss. Only need to increase LCD sceeen res from 828p to 1080p and use 120Hz OLEDs in Pro models and the iPhone 12 series will be a winner. iPhone has improved dramatically since the XR/XS era. Introducing the iPhone 9 will seem like a step backwards.

The reason this happened is because of the recent pandemic. iPhone 9 is significantly cheaper than many flagships and that's the selling point. If you're complaining about the price of a cheap phone then you probably need a better job.

Apple should h... more$200??? Are you kidding? There are no new Apple phones that cost $200. Moreover even similarly-specced Androids potentially cost more and none come with a small size.

Apple should have three sized iPhones, something around 10cm $200, SE sized and full sized. $200 is still around 6 times more than you can get a similar sized phone for. I got one, but it needs to be mid range or high range. Sharp did a SE like phone with a 845 a couple years ago. Surely Apple could do it in 10cm with full face screen. The 9 with top and bottom borders taking up space, I don't really want.

Aw..! This is bad news for the tech community. If iPhone 9 is launched at the right price then it would give a big blow to android OEMs. No doubt that android is dominating the mobile market because of its efficient pricing. I'm sure there are lots of people willing to give iOS a try if priced efficiently.

This is what happen when you go full-cheap labor to put 500% price on your product.
And this is not only about Apple. People should realize that China is earth huge centralized factory that provide us not only with electronic but with EVERYTHING starting from food(china is top 1 biggest supply for meat, vegis and fruits) ending in big construction supply for ships/buildings/cars.
One small glitch in this centralized factory and rest of the world is doomed...
