Fayth, 13 Mar 2020I'm more concern about the workers inside the factory but as long as they are well paid, that... moreGood that you're concerned about the workers' welfare though let me assure you that they're definitely not well paid and that's not okay.
[deleted post]Yeah, man. I mean I am as happy as the next guy for a nation rising up to challange US Monopoly on almost everything and especially in tech-spgere, but do you have to be 'that' obvious about it?
[deleted post]What're you smoking man, really? Oh wait, it seems like CCP newspaper rolled down - no need to put anything under it even. Just light it up and world (Chinese world, I suppose) is good. Eternal Utopia.
I just hope foxconn helps it's workers getting back to normal.

[deleted post]You know that Foxconn exists in India as well and does not solely manufacture Apple products, right? Just saying, actually.
COVID-19 is also spreading to countries where it's unlikely to be at such as Switzerland, Sweden, Italy, and even poorer, crisis-stricken countries such as South Sudan and Iraq. It's not a very serious disease, but it just spreads too easily.
So it's not just Apple and the Chinese OEMs that's taking a hit from the virus. Samsung will also be impacted although of a lesser margin.
Wondering what'll happen to crisis-stricken countries such as Iran, Iraq, South Sudan, (part of) Kenya. If this spreads to war-ridden or worse/poorer countries such as Somalia, Afghanistan, etc. then it's game over for them.
