Anonymous, 14 Mar 2020But still selling it for expensive price loliPhone is still cheaper than even a 4G Samsung S series in some areas, especially Singapore (where iPhone costs somewhat cheap).
so, during this time they attract consumers to gather and crowded their place? sounds coronavirus has new spot to spread..lol
As commendable as this new Samsung effort of preserving environment is, I'm afraid even that cost will be passed down to the consumers - if it 'already' isn't a sly PR damage control/justifying shenanigans of the insane price hikes.
s/ The UV-C light is not designed for iPhones as the UV-C light "burns" iPhones after a mere 5 mins. /s
AnonD-558092, 14 Mar 2020iKnow Right.Nailed it.
FapPhone, 13 Mar 2020Will sanitize both my S10 and iPhone 11 then. Hope Samsung will accept iPhones. And as far ... moreBut still selling it for expensive price lol
six_tymes, 14 Mar 2020kudos to Samsung, doing good, more than anyone else is. They can sanitize them all day and night for the rest of the year still ain't going to get me to buy a phone for $1,300 how about they drop the price to a normal price and then I'll get one I refuse to buy a new phone since the Galaxy s8 because every time a new phone comes out they try to increase the price exponentially
kudos to Samsung, doing good, more than anyone else is.

How about them antibacterial sprays and wipes 99.9
FapPhone, 13 Mar 2020Will sanitize both my S10 and iPhone 11 then. Hope Samsung will accept iPhones. And as far ... moreThe RDF got you good. If Apple gave two cents for the environment they wouldn't manufacture their phones in a country where they can spew all the factory pollution straight into the atmosphere, rivers and ground. Apple "cares" to the extend where it doesn't affect the overall profits.
Great move by Samsung!
I wish every single OEM will do the same thing. At this point of our lives, we need to work together as one to fight the pandemic crisis that's slowly but surely going to wipe out the human race once it gets severely critical and incurable.
AnonD-908380, 13 Mar 2020Samsung acting environmentally friendly while still not using pull tabs for the batteries. That ain't economically friendly, bud
Will sanitize both my S10 and iPhone 11 then. Hope Samsung will accept iPhones.
And as far as I know, only Apple is commited to reducing waste by recycling their old parts?
Sonu4678, 13 Mar 2020I don't see why that matters in this context. That has nothing to do with the environment."Samsung is also committed to reducing pollution and environmental damage..."
Think or read again.
