As commendable as this new Samsung effort of preserving environment is, I'm afraid even that cost will be passed down to the consumers - if it 'already' isn't a sly PR damage control/justifying shenanigans of the insane price hikes.

s/ The UV-C light is not designed for iPhones as the UV-C light "burns" iPhones after a mere 5 mins. /s

six_tymes, 14 Mar 2020kudos to Samsung, doing good, more than anyone else is. They can sanitize them all day and night for the rest of the year still ain't going to get me to buy a phone for $1,300 how about they drop the price to a normal price and then I'll get one I refuse to buy a new phone since the Galaxy s8 because every time a new phone comes out they try to increase the price exponentially

If Apple gave two cents for the environment they wouldn't manufacture their phones in a country where they can spew all the factory pollution straight into the atmosphere, rivers and ground. Apple "cares" to the extend where it doesn't affect the overall profits.

I wish every single OEM will do the same thing. At this point of our lives, we need to work together as one to fight the pandemic crisis that's slowly but surely going to wipe out the human race once it gets severely critical and incurable.
