Seriously 5 megapixel rear camera is already outdated on a phone that is yet to be released. 8 megapixel would have made more sense, especially in today's market flooded with better option.
Snub160, 17 Mar 2020They will sell like hot cakes here in AfricaYep and this is why they release such devices
if the price is right, there still market for entry level device like this
not everybody needs the latest and greatest
Unisoc is the spreadtrum chip set they do perform ok on minimum tasks.
Anna, 16 Mar 2020Android 9 Pie Go edition? Hello, we are already in 2020 and Android 10 was released long back.... moreThe only thing is I guess is it's perfect for the older generation, for calls and very light internet browsing, maybe also people that have no expectations the price will be the deciding factor if cheap will probably sell like hotcakes. Maybe a 2nd backup device or the like.
Android 9 Pie Go edition? Hello, we are already in 2020 and Android 10 was released long back. Not sure about Android 10 Go edition. As per Goggle, it will (hopefully) receive only 2 more OS updates.
Looking at the specifications, nobody will buy it for their children. They will handover their old phone. I am sure, even that child will throw away this crash. Are they really launching this in 2020?
Anonymous, 16 Mar 2020This phone is absolutely a lower midrange phone Android Go basically is the definition of entry level Android
5.7" screen looks good on paper, but with those bezels it will be just as big as any >6" phone these days.
Anyway the teal color version looks pretty nice. As long as the price is under 70€ it might sell well.
Anonymous, 16 Mar 2020This phone is absolutely a lower midrange phone You mean entry level.
Anonymous, 16 Mar 2020The design looks like the old windows phones. Nice but old. Okay for an entry phone I guess. This phone is absolutely a lower midrange phone
these cheap phones are no go except for calling only, apps like viber, facebook are barely usablе,you tube, chrome will crash very often due to low ram available
Android Go in 2020 ? Oh come on HMD....at least give full version of android ( not Go edition ),even low end device who running full android can be under $100
HMD Nokia using Unisoc chips? I hope they make a phone that uses Unisoc's latest flagship chipset (Tiger series) and sell it as a midrange phone.
Make Unisoc viable!
