Anonymous, 16 Mar 2020Don't know why this phone is so popular. The one I had was laggy and had a poor camera I'm using this phone. This phone is popular because it was launched at the time when Snapdragon 660 was at it's peak. This phone gave tough competition with Exynos 9609.
Moreover, it's camera got better with timely updates. It came with fast charge which was new at this price segment. Underdisply FP sensor (which is not so fast). Great battery. FHD sAmoled display.
Plus Samsung brand.
I haven't overloaded my phone with unnecessary apps. My phone never hanged. Even my 2015 J7 never hanged.

The one I had was laggy and had a poor camera Either you are expecting too much from this phone even if it is a mid ranger or the unit is defective.... Or there is a lot of background apps that you don't close or you downloaded apps that really runs in the background (which takes up RAM)...
I mean I also have the A30 which is more inferior to the A50 but it run pretty smooth.
