This is getting interesting but in this corona crisis we get the 1024GB eUFS 3.2 with 12 times writing the speeds when the corona crisis ends.
Everybody would and should focus on finding the cure.

And I'... moreWrong, the important thing is that most people don't understand the situation here and mostly because it is a widespread phenomenon that doesn't happen more than once in human average lifetime, yes the virus itself is not fatal if you get medical treatment, but if you don't you have no chance, the danger here is if the number of infected people exceeded the quantitative tolerance of the hospitals and its medical equipments how these people are going to get their treatments, and every country has quantitative tolerance based on maximum regular daily patients which is way less than the number of of infected people IF they do not stay home and get not infected.

Okay so what's with the interesting "storage cards" bit? Does it mean Sammy wants to put this tech into SD cards?

HEISENBERG, 17 Mar 2020Stil is NVMe faster than this new UFS 3.1 ?Actually NVMe is much faster.
            But the real question is
" Is NVMe in smartphone faster than UFS 3.1 ?"

Ali Bashir, 17 Mar 2020Send your employees home for their safety instead. I think, most of their employ can stay at home while working. You don't have to worry.
And I'm with Elon Musk on this one.

Prototype, 17 Mar 2020So we still need to wait 10 years for under 30 seconds speeds. No. It will not come. By then 16k movies will be 25 tb each and will still take long time to copy. Technology is so adjusted that you always pay but never reach limit or luxury of being easy.
Instead you keep trailing specs unless some simple products like earphones vacuum cleaners etc... at least computers in last decade reached better point that we dont have to renew them every year like we used to in 90s 2000s.

Not all UFS 3.1 are the same. UFS3.1 from Samsung seems better than that from Micron.

HEISENBERG, 17 Mar 2020Stil is NVMe faster than this new UFS 3.1 ?The microSD-Express (microSD card implementation of NVMe) sequential read/write speed is 985MB/s
Samsung should be manufacturing these cards and making this the default card host on their phones, so that microSD storage expansion can keep up with internal storage.
