Nevitas, 19 Mar 2020you can't because memory starts to have bottleneckNo it doesn't, you aren't recording this on slower speed memory cards.
Ufs 3.0 storage can handle bitrate above 100mbps easily.
watch the low bitrate, 24 fps video.
My XZ premium surpasses the file size of the 8k video of the s20, but in 4k resolution.
You see bitrate and fps is what matters here. Something the s20 really suppresses in order ro record in 8k, in usable file size. In other words, very compressed video
JJ, 18 Mar 2020You mean your 720p iPhone Xr?Oh no. Something *much* cheaper.
That stench of desperation is turning very visible.
Sales must be going very, very poor for samsung.
Realistically speaking, the only way I can judge the overall quality of this 8K video is to watch it on my 4K TV screen. Smartphone screens will NEVER cut it, even with YouTube-verified Oppo Find X2 Pro.
Anonymous, 18 Mar 2020Bitrate can be changed with any third party app. Maybe you haven't become that smart after us... moreEven the birate can be change by third-party apps (actually I don't know the app please post up the application details), you can't have the fully experience with the 8K video because you can only use a 2 or 3K display to view the 8K video, in another words said a big "foot"age shrink into a tiny shoe (show).
AnonD-908380, 18 Mar 2020They can use 16K for all I care. If the bitrate is low, resolution doesn't matter and is only ... moreBitrate can be changed with any third party app.
Maybe you haven't become that smart after using a smartphone.
Anonymous, 18 Mar 2020Watching this on my 720p phone....You mean your 720p iPhone Xr?
Senseurheart Kimochi, 18 Mar 20204K video is much reasonable in everywhere. S20+ 8K video is for waste because it must has big... moreThey can use 16K for all I care. If the bitrate is low, resolution doesn't matter and is only half the story...
Lets face it, no one watching this on a mobile device can appreciate the true 8k footage, the closest you can get with this is watching on an xperia device which has a 4k screen...
Anonymous, 17 Mar 2020Canon FF do 4K30 over 400Mbps. Samsung 8K24 is 80Mbps.
Imagine 8K from upcoming Eos R5, must... moreI know it's a no brainer to compare a sub $1k phone to a probably $4k mirrorless camera.
Just for fun i guess, since they rock the same 8k video spec.
"Watch this 8k video..."
How? No-one owns an 8K TV here, in all of my small town.
Lol - what's the point.. youtube doesn't do 8k, our phone screens, laptop screen, internet speeds all can't handle 8k.
Lets see how good you do in low light, and without a stabilizer, and slow motion. That's what matters Samsung!
These days what manufacturers wants us to see as innovation are mostly gimmicks.. Hard truth, told the simply way. 8K is unnecessary in a phone.
4K video is much reasonable in everywhere. S20+ 8K video is for waste because it must has bigger file size compared to the 4K video, but can it watch the 8K video and zoom in the 8K video dramatically? I think 4K is enough for zoom-in in the video, 8K should go even further but do you really need it?Overall the 4K video is better than 8K video right now. We forgot to mention 2K video and 1080p or 720p or 480p or 360p or 240p or even 144p video, that's quite a bunch of solution to meet the streaming speed on YouTube video. I probably use 144p for streaming music to playing MV on YouTube running it at the background, to save the battery and data. Which are the video resolution for streaming you are often using it, can you share.
