There was more players in phone world, first like Siemens, then Sony,Htc,Lg... Now we have 4-5 makers and that's it. The same is in laptop segment. There was Toshiba, Fujitsu Siemens,Sony. Now - Asus,Acer,Apple,Lenovo.
Alex 94, 19 Mar 2020More competition - better specs for lower price.More competition? Yeah right, there is already a lot of competition in Android world, why bother adding more? I know you will say choice and freedom, but honestly speaking... I prefer simplicity like iOS or Windows Phone or even BlackBerry OS. Too many choices from just one mobile OS alone can be a real nuisance.

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2020Weak. Most 2020 flagships have more than that. I didn't mention it as a flagship phone, clearly I highlighted it will be Snapdragon 730g, so a mid range phone only.
I just need a smaller phone not more like s10e but s10e expensive for me. A midrange smaller phone with midrange chipsets like sdm720g/sdm730g and 1080p Display IPS or AMOLED don't care but at least 3500 mah battery. Also, metal frame and back, not cheap plastic or premium looking glass. Why give glass in midrange when wireless charging only comes in high-end phones. Someone would say glass looks nice and premium but most of us gonna put Case on it so what the point on giving glass when users gonna hide the premium look. Also, once a great Guru said glass is glass and glass breaks.
Am I asking too much? Every now and then, I'm seeing many people want a small-sized midrange phone. Cause Phones are becoming more like a wide tablet.
Crona, 19 Mar 2020Dear smartphone makers.
Please consider my ideal specs for a budget super smartphone:
siz... moreMy ideal phone...
5-inch FHD+ display (no notch)
1 rear camera with OIS
4,000mAh battery with at least 18W charging
As simple as that.
Nobi, 19 Mar 2020SpinceptionLol... Spinception. Nice one! But it's crazy trying to keep track of these sub (sub sub sub...) brands. Definitely leaves me dazed and confused.
why don't they concentrate 3-4 phone range and stop wasting R&D resources ffs
