U might want to buy the mi 11 or mi 11 ultra tho. Or just wait for mi 12 as its going ot release like this month so. Just an recommendation
I had Redmi Note 2 as my first Xiaomi phone. It didn't last with me because it was stolen. Then I bought Redmi Note 3se in Nov 2016. It was my best phone and really enjoyed it till I bought Mi 9 lite two months ago. I still have my Redmi Note 3 as backup and I use it occasionally. I still have my respect fot it.

Impressive phone with great battery life. Though not using it now, i still keep it as backup and occasionally fiddle with it.
Anonymous, 22 Mar 2020Noobs cry when heros die. When i going to recommend my sister to buy Xiaomi,
my gray market merchant neighbour points out to stay away from Redmi 3.
he said, way too many returned product, a major QC problem.
But he noted that Redmi Note 3 is by far much better. we use that phone for 2~ year before it have the first problem, the charger port problem. it cost $25 and then its normal again.
I still have this Beast until now! Still works smoothly and can perform at par with most mid range phones today! Mine is only 3/32 GB Snapdragon Gold Version! I even had the Real Beast, Mi 3 back in 2011! It was sold out ONLY FOR 24 HOURS here in the Philippines!
Ever since then, I became a Xiaomi fanatic! Until now, still recommending their awesome and premium quality products!
Im still using my 3yr old Redmi note 4.
Its running smoothly with casual apps and games (I play PUBG and COD without any issues )
i have this phone, for the time it was awesome.
My previous phone i Samsung Duo, which basically lags everytime i do things other than whatsapp. It took serious prayers to open googlemap and the battery will dies under 1 and half hour of googlemapping/GPS-on.
Redmi Note 3 with its Hexacore? i can open googlemap easily, i can open youtube without lags, and i can use the GPS for 3 hour and it still have some juice left.
The only problem was the camera, which still an upgrade from my previous phone but within 2 year, it was obsolete when compared to Samsung J7. I can't take document picture easily, i can't take photo in the night without making grainy as hell.
But then i move to Redmi Note 5 ai which solves all of the camera problem. To note tough, Redmi Note 3 have additional Amplifier which cause it to be better for IEM/earphones compared to the newer Redmi Note 5 ai.
started with redmi note 4, really good phone, still with Xiaomi from that phone
