Anonymous, 19 Mar 2020Foxconn is Taiwan. Taiwan is only recognised by 14 of the 193 members of the UN.

But my point was it isn't really European. Hmd might put the Nokia name on it but it's no more European than OnePlus

This phone feels more like a 450€ phone, not 600.. Also 6.81" screen with those bezels, it will be huge and heavy! HMD rather just do a "next-gen Nokia Communicator" with sliding double screens LOL!

NINO (Nokia in name only), HTC, LG...what's the point anymore?

They had their time, they have lost the plot and now they are only pushing out half baked-over priced junk that a Very small segment of the market would know of/care of/purchase if at all.

Do we not have enough of a e-waste problem in this world? Do we really need more e-waste, which their PR sheets refer to as something called "phones", from these companies?

Well it looks like we're not going to get a proper compact device any time soon. Also, paying 600 and not getting OLED is completely unacceptable. Nokia is definitely not innovating anymore. They're just trying to get a piece of the pie. With offerings like this, they're not going very far.

Products page does not mention if rear panel is glass, metal or plastic.
All I could find is the phone has 17,1 cm tall, 220g, ddr4x ram , Bluetooth 5.0 and what gsmarena posted.

Xperia 10 II is tipped to be below 380 euros. With IP68, front speakers, gorilla 6, oled with Bravia tech, 4K recording with EIS and stereo recording, also a 52mm camera instead of useless macro.

                                  HMD is 100x worse.

Nokia is following the footprints of HTC and Sony...

You guys are talking about future proofing with 5G but no UFS 3.0 storage or USB 3.1 which makes storage and data transfer faster. You have to tap markets like India where population is more than Indians are having emotional touch from nokia.

When they need to tap them they should be competitive against Chinese brands.

Even Samsung M series makes more sense and they are market leaders. Nokia here trying to sell overpriced phones lose existing customers.

I stayed with Nokia by believing in windowsphone. I welcomed them by pre-ordering Nokia 7 Plus.
Never gonna buy Nokia stuff if they price crazily.

Asus ROG phones makes more sense as they are launching with stock android
