The lens is more important than the camera sensor.
Furthermore, the more megapixels, the less sharp it should be at due to light diffraction. The images will be softer even if they have more details.

108MP is only good for higher resolving power, but it doesn't give much more details than my 8 year 20mp dslr

Huawei is only better in unpractical areas like extreme low light, zoom in basic photography they suc* big time like front camera dynamic range reminds me if 2010 camera. Rear cameras dynamic range also is very poor. And portrait mode the dynamic range falls to a big 0.

1) iPhones don't have good dynamic range. The processing makes it look like it has larger dynamic range, but it looks artificial.
2) iPhone images are rubbish. If you ever blown up an image it's clear that the details are.. Wait, what details.. Though i have to admit it does look pretty good on low resolution screens on the iPhone.
That said, I find the Samsung S20 Ultra's camera to be absolute rubbish. Only idiots with no real photography experience with actual cameras can call it good. The end results are at most a minor (if any) upgrade.
I hate the look of the pill on the P40 series.
Argh i feel so angsty.. Why does it feel like there's so much compromise in getting any of the flagship phones this year.
