Tried every custom ROM, they were all crap. Either battery drain or no Google Playstore Security Updates or no navigation button settings... Auto brightness and Wifi / bluetooth was the same garbage. This is not a hardware related issue. Alot of people complained about this. It's the firmware but since they release a new phone every three months, the developers can't fix anything. Waste of money...

AnonD-908380, 21 Mar 2020I have the Note 8 and it conveniently started to have unstable wifi with bluetooth on and off ... morethat sounds like a mix of hardware and software issue to me. my redmi note 1 spoilt because of the battery. so the hardware down for me not the software. i got a running redmi note 6 until now, a few redmi 4a, 5a and so on but they are running slow because of the hardware. i had samsung s2 and note 4 too. they both gone because of the batteries too. it is always the hardware that failed me. now i am using sony phone but plan to make a switch because i dont want to spend 1k usd for a flagship.
get a refund if it is under warranty or learn to root to get ride of the MIUI. xiaomi every year will have a follow up note version. if you have bought it on the launch date your phone would have been 1 year old. every phone will have a chance to break no matter how good you taking care of it. i had an lg v10 and it broke because of the motherboard just after a year when the warranty void. even flagship will break.

Tech has advanced in ways that for many people (my grandparents, etc.), its hard for them to keep up, but video streaming services like YouTube, etc. still have not upgraded its services to translate audio languages on the fly to the viewers native language.

XZP LUL, 21 Mar 2020i have plenty of xiaomi phone, whats wrong with the software ? do you own any ? running fine w... moreI have the Note 8 and it conveniently started to have unstable wifi with bluetooth on and off (5GHz), push notifications are delayed or not working when locked and auto brightness is completely trash. Just after the Note 9 was announced, convenient much? Same issues three years ago with my Note 4. If you had not owned a different brand phone, you will not see how broken MIUCrap actually is. Mi community is full of complaints but of course they don't respond or fix anything.

Massive software flaws make this phone a useless brick even before release. They silently push updates to make the phone unusable six months after release. iPhone throttling was even less malicious than what Xiaomi is doing. This is the CCP way I guess, disgusting...
