Welton, 26 Mar 2020About the one ui 2.1 update will it do 8k camera on the front facing because I already have 4k... moreOf course not! 8K video requires a minimum of 33MP resolution. The Note10 only has 10 on the front

ThunderCrackR, 26 Mar 2020That's what I'm saying. Half the price of the Note10+ and launched with this.Plus it's got the Snapdragon 855, so better GPU and less throttling compared to Exynos variants.
Aramissss, 26 Mar 2020It's because super steady feature use crop function of sensor, so it is more hardware function... moreSuper Steady IS present on the Note and, yes, it uses the wide angle camera to be able to crop. It is about the resolution, which was not unlocked through software to use 4K, only 1080p (the Note's 16MP is more than enough for 4K, it has 4MP more than the Lite). The processing power is not an excuse either, as they use the same chipset, with the Note having up to double the Lite's RAM. So, yes, they ARE able to port it through software.
ThunderCrackR, 25 Mar 2020One of the most important things - 4K in Super Steady - is nowhere to be found...It's because super steady feature use crop function of sensor, so it is more hardware function, than software. So - I don't think that it is possible to port it with update. Never used that function though.
Anonymous, 25 Mar 2020Already there on the S10 Lite. That's what I'm saying. Half the price of the Note10+ and launched with this.

Is there any info whether the features will be the same for both chip variants
Jaeger, 25 Mar 2020Do you realize camera quality is subjective?
I doubt that the Note8 cameras can compete in ... moreHow did you even manage to get an SD version?
I'm from Denmark and you can only get the Exynos versions here. If I import one from US I will have to pay a large amount in toll which I don't want because already in Denmark we have 25% VAT increase in price making the phones even more expensive. I always buy them outright because I don't want to commit to a 2 year carrier contract..
[deleted post]Do you realize camera quality is subjective?
I doubt that the Note8 cameras can compete in quality with S20 series. You probably didn't even waited for the camera update. But I must agree on performance. Exynos 990 (and I assume that's the version you bought) is a disaster in terms of sustained performance, thermal management and battery efficiency. That's why I always buy the Snapdragon version (I have a Note9 with SD845, and I couldn't be happier with its performance, signal reception, network compatibility and battery efficiency).
Well this adds a little value back to my S10. Glad they're doing it. Next time if they can use the Snapdragon chipset worldwide it will be even better
Emeline Shaw, 25 Mar 2020I returned my S20+ after only 2 days of use - there is literally no difference between the S20... moreI have serious doubt on you ?
When did you get the S20+ and when did you return it ?
anyone tried to activate/deactivate stabiliser on video mode? camera app freezes after that and one lense is clicking all the time to change zoom. anyone else with that issue?
london2tim, 25 Mar 2020so basically the s10 is now pretty much same level with s20
will they bring new features for ... moreIt doesn't say the s10 will be on the same level as s20 camera, just features trickling down from s20 to s20...features nothing else.
Note 10 Lite is not getting Night Hyperlapse...is it getting the other features then?
Wow I wasnt even expecting this well done Samsung. I just thought they would do One UI 2.1 and thats it. New camera modes are a bonus
