Personally I think slim bezels are far better than any notch/punch hole solution. It would be great if Apple actually goes this route, as that will also force their Android competitors to get rid of filthy notches and punch holes.
Let's just stick with slim bezels until under-display cameras become usable.

trend, 25 Mar 2020How you know it's 3mm? It's seem to me 5mm or more based on the render. It's huge loliphones x, xs and 11 pro have 3mm bottom bezel.

Wait, what ?
Top and bottom bezels are really nice here, not too big as they still give a fullscreen experience, but not too small so it allow many sensors to be hosted on the top one and the display connexion on the bottom one meaning less expensive.
And that's how phone should have evolved rather than having notch and holes.
But why the heck are the side borders so thick ?

It is smaller than s9 bezel.
What is the point of Samsung advertise screen as best ever when you do not have 100% of it to use?
It is ridiculous to have a huge black spot on screen that looks like all pixels there died.

Notchless iPhone design won't happen until 2022.
In 2020 the notch will be smaller and in 2021 it will be reduced even further. In 2022 the notch will be removed completely.
