In some proprietary solutions, like 1+ Warp charge, the heat, for one, goes to the charging brick, not the battery.

I'll try again. I did say that I got worse scores in sequential read and write tests, but I also mentioned that sequential tests are not representative of real life usage.
The other tests, like random read and write, are representative of real life usage cases and this is were I get better scores.
Besides hardware advantages, the software part is very important, like filesystem in use and applied optimizations.

Maybe you are using some cheap defective unit. Samsung can get it replaced for you if it's under warranty.

first, Im highlighting about battery degradation after a couple years usage, and there are also a lot people who's saying the same on some forums especially reddit, and this, my friend, what we could say facts.
Then you came in blabbing about updates that can make battery efficiency and show only one case from a reviewer.. I'm talking about battery degradation first, not battery efficiency after updates? how hard is it to understand? unless you really can't digest the context here first, I think there's the problem.
But okay, I continue with battery efficiency thing, you claim its improve, well I said before, it can improve OR make worse each updates can be differ, and there are also A LOT of people claimed after updating their s10 their battery drain fast, lot of cases means FACTS (with S). Dont use one case THEN you claimed as FACT, it's A SINGLE CASE.
You simply can't digest the context here yet saying people otherwise, and updates can't fix battery degradation, its only improve battery efficiency (or drain more fast).
Anonymous, 27 Mar 2020Easy to explain. Most buy low end/midranges and will get the cheapest they see.
Someone that... moreEasy to explain, that premium segment is dominated by Samsung, Apple, Huawei, OnePlus and others.
Sony, LG, HTC are nowhere to be found.
[deleted post]Funny part is that I don't own a Redmi/Realme.
I own a s10/ROG 2.
I give credit where it's due.
I don't act like a brand boy justifying weak fast charging.
Same excuses were made by you guys when Sony refused to give 4K60 out of the box last year. You guys made excuses citing reasons such as no phone does 4K60 well, overheating problem, etc. And guess what, they gave 4K60 now with an update. It works without any issues like other phones on the market.

This site has been doing After the buzz videos for nearly a decade now.
You simply can't digest the fact that issues have been fixed.
Mr. Anonymous, 27 Mar 2020Looks like you didn't understand what I said. Try to read it again. You said your P30 UFS 2.1 has better scores. I explained you scores are not important in real life but tech behind 2.1 and 3.0 are different. Hence 3.0 will Always be better than 2.1. Also 2.1 can't have better sequential scores than 3.0 because maximum sequential read for 2.1 is 1200 MB/s while the number here for Xperia 1 II is around 1300 MB/s. No UFS 2.1 can achieve that read score even with your P30 2.1

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2020Why don't you research more on individual proprietary fast charging tech out there. Google is... moreI don't think you Need to Google when you have Basic common Engineering Knowledge. No matter what type of tech they bring it. There will alwys be Degradation of battery over the period. If the charging cycles are often or if the charging time is short for same capacity, it degrades faster than normal charging over the period. No one can avoid that consequence. Unless People Change their mobiles so often like once an year or once in two years. It is impossible for them to notice the Degradation depending on the tech they use. But People having less Watts fast charging will endure for longer periods than others with high watts.

Here's how to claimed whether some information were valid or not for dummy: if you found a lot of similar cases happens to different people, then there are chance it's valid.. remember, there's no smoke without fire.. there are lots of people in reddit and lots of them are also well-known within their community reported the same way.
Remember, back to main topic, updates didnt fix battery degradation problems, its only improve battery efficiency or maybe MAKE WORSE than before. And since beginning Im talking about battery degradation, not battery drain issues after updates, dont make distortion here would you? we can only measure battery degradation after we use our phones after usage more than 1 year or at least 2 year usage

[deleted post]I'll buy it... I've been using my Sony XZ1 for 3 years now, so it's time for another upgrade that will last me another 3 years.
