You just have to look at what night mode does on the mate 30 pro to see the house difference it makes.

Seems quite clear that nightmode is not properly working yet on the p40 Pro since the stardard shots are looking better than it. Even without night mode it still beats the competition, so one can only imagine what will happen once they update it, which I'm sure will happen soon.

Anon., 27 Mar 2020Best night camera and best stabilization! That's where you got wrongiPhone easily has the best stabilisation in low light, so he's not wrong actually. During the day its stabilisation effective enough to compensate for any shakes while you're walking (not so great for running though), but it's nighttime where it starts to flex its muscle. All Android phones, including the newest and greatest S20 Ultra and P40 Pro, show some annoying jitters in light sources. iPhone doesn't show any.
As for the low light camera.. if I were him I would replace P30 Pro with iPhone 11 Pro and Pixel 4 while keeping the other two.

Sonu4678, 27 Mar 2020I've been toning down my interaction with the GSMA community nowadays. Here is what I noticed ... moreIn my opinion considering the budget Apple has to develop iphones and price charged (mainly outside USA , that is much higher) , the iphones should be much better.
1) cam settings need to be inside cam app, not phone settings. Apple should offer manual mode for stills/video, not make user pays for apps to have it.
2) no HDR 10bit recording
3) no USB C instead of slower lightning with that too fragile cable.
4) QHD screen for Pro Max
5) audio settings
6) screen colours control
7) stop hiding things in settings . To disable auto brightness you need to go to Accessibility instead of screen settings, that is ridiculous.
Apple have to stop overcharging for some services repair. You pay $600 to replace a broken rear glass of 11 Pro Max. While glass of Samsung phones cost less than $100. And Apple does not even use Gorilla Glass.
