Cutout looks a bit exaggerated. There are annoying issues on the corners of the display. Rear camera placement is wrong. Horizontal alignment is a better choice for design and usage purposes. Samsung S10 line has a better design. I think manufacturers should think again.

BOE is also the the manufacturer of the screens on the F(x)tec Pro1 keyboard slider.

its pretty ironic that in the smartphone worl people actual believe OLED as a technology is much brighter

then in the TV space OLED struggles at 1000 nits and LCD displays are aiming for 5000 nits and even projected to go to 10000 nits in the future

where images will go for photo realism for parts in images that have high glow, surfaces reflecting light etc

The brightness is very low at 430nits, even cheap 2nd quality Google pixel 4 panels have higher screen brightness.

OnePlus, Xiaomi and Samsung have some overdrive to hit 1000 nits at certain parts of screen.

That's good. BOE makes good screens for a reasonable cost.

Even Apple is expected to use BOE as their supplier for 2021 iPhones: https://www.gsmarena.com/apple_looking_into_boe_as_second_largest_oled_supplier_for_2021-news-40784.php
