My mate 20 Pro had a boe screen with a terrible green tint that got worse and worse which was then replaced by Huawei for another phone entirely for a non boe screen one. Member?

be aware - boe displays are garbage - they have massive backlight bleeding and a strong greenish tint. don't ever buy a phone with a boe display.

Previous sony phones had Lcd from Sharp, Lg and JDi. No difference seen.

To be honest, I don't like BOE panel on my Mate 20 pro, it's kind of greenish, and next to my old Galaxy S8 It looks weird unnatural.
This time around I'll go with LG if not faulty, I don't believe LG did the same logistic mistake again.

So, this mix and match means there a chance you get a Huawei P40 with really bad quality hardware or really good quality hardware. They probably keep all the good stuff only for China market. Huawei is really being shady these days.

Exynos, Snapdragon etc. We in Europe get Exynos 4G with 8/128 GB. In US Snapdragon 5G with 12/512 etc. Nowadays each OEM makes at least 3 devices in spring and 2 devices in autumn. IT'S A DISASTER. What I really miss are those times when we only had one flagship per year. Like HTC one m7, Samsung Galaxy S4 etc. I hope those days will come once again soon in the future. 🙏
