of course their sales are dwindling, that because there are lot of models not available outside china.. they should be more focused on westerner and south east asia market first because nokia's name still recognized on them.. chinese people prefer samsung than nokia

last time i saw the tank-like HMD nokia is the nokia 3,5,6,7 plus. After that, they followed the the curvy glass sandwich which is truly boring. people would rather go to other brand, rather than the half baked hardware and software on nokia phones.

Like everybody else has learned the hard way,

You can’t just slap Android and a legacy name on 100 cheap products and hope it will sell.

Differentiate. Give us some of the old Maemo/Lumina phone styling. Give us a proper flagship under 5” with a PureView camera that WORKS.

Make one phone and support it well. Just one flagship phone every year, with guaranteed monthly updates for 3 years. Its literally the one thing that nobody but Apple has figured out.

HDM making profits at the quarter they released Nokia 6.2 and 7.2 is quite scary.

It just shows them that they can make hyper-overpriced phones with ancient recycled components and with enough advertisement they can make profits. Can't wait for Nokia 7.3 with Snapdragon 625 for 500$ next year.

People jumped on with nostalgia. Now they're taking undue advantage. Just look at the Nokia 8.3G. It's huge price and meh features. Of course people will wake up. After all they are not even the real Nokia.

I am a huge Nokia fan. I grew up with Nokia phones. Nevertheless, I haven't had a Nokia phone since the 808 Pureview. I really wanted to buy the Nokia 9 pureview but the software really let me down. I hope they can get their act together and work on the software because the hardware is great.

Watching their phones it was obvious the low cheap quality of those recent models and in general now from HMD. Their single phone more in line with quality was the 7.1 despite the mediocre cameras. The rest meh.

In sum, the Huawei P40 Pro’s camera blows the competition out of the water. If you want the best camera in a smartphone, there is currently no better alternative.
