When I look at the "excellent" bokeh there are a lot of spots that I see the phone not working properly to create the effect like around the lock on the gate, the gate itself, under his arm that is grabbing the gate, and under the arm pit . I dont see how this is excellent

AnonD-754814, 31 Mar 2020Can't trust dxomark.Well for me, I dont take their total score seriously. But the separation score, along with details explanation & samples are spot on from what I've seen.
The only weakness of DxO are there are protocols involved, limited the camera full capabilities. But to be honest theres a lot of cameras that they have to test, so the protocols seems logical to save manpower lol.
At least base on that legit separation score, consumer got the idea & choices before buying what base on their wants & needs, as every person preferences are subjective.

Great conclusion by DxO, along with the great sample pics. I still think RAW noise reduction on Mate 30 Pro got the best texture/noise control quality, up until today.

The greatest proof is Mi note 10 pro. It's main lens get's more detail than the macro.
I have a question about your samples. I know that to get the macro shot heavy sensor cropping is going on But why do the photos have very irregular(wide difference) resolutions ?

Anonymous, 31 Mar 2020I don't know the cameras with smaller sensors than micro 4:3 , maybe those sony things with th... moreActually I went for sony after comparing the prices and sensor sizes, shame it doesn't work in mobile space, should get better now however as alpha lab get to have a say in xperia hw/sw.
Utub comparison with 1II look still weak though, will see how it truly is after release.

Thats why I think all those additional dedicated 'macro' lens with subpar quality are useless, when the tech to use it along UWA already here. Less camera will be used, with great quality results.
