AnonD-754814, 31 Mar 2020Did you just dodge my question with a joke ? I don't think I asked about your boyfriend. But you don't trust me. You asked me before. I said I bought the S20+ on the 21th march and returned it again on the 23th march. I have the reciept here and took a photo of it - I can sent it to your email if you don't believe me?
Emeline Shaw, 31 Mar 2020Thank you very much:)

I don't think I asked about your boyfriend.
Emeline Shaw, 31 Mar 2020Thank you very much! Just what I was looking for:) That will be a poor choice. Just see how bad is the macro of Mi note 10 compared to the regular lens.
KnightX, 31 Mar 2020Supersaf is a pure Samsung fanboy!!
MrWhoosetheboss already demonstrated how Huawei P40 is ... moreEveryone knows Dany winget is a Huawei fanboy.
Everyone also knows SuperSaf does it the best among the regular camera(phone) reviewer.
If he was a Samsung fanboy he wouldn't rip-off the S20 ultra.
When I look at the "excellent" bokeh there are a lot of spots that I see the phone not working properly to create the effect like around the lock on the gate, the gate itself, under his arm that is grabbing the gate, and under the arm pit . I dont see how this is excellent
Lmao and this was just the P40 pro when P40 pro+ comes out it will be like doomsday for the other companys :D
AnonD-754814, 31 Mar 2020According to my knowledge there is no flagship with a macro camera. Some midrange devices has ... moreThank you very much:)
And to answer your private question: No I don't have a boyfriend, I'm single and enjoying my freedom.
Btw, Nick is so sweet. He always helps me with phone and camera advice. He has such profund knowledge.

AnonD-754814, 31 Mar 2020Can't trust dxomark.Well for me, I dont take their total score seriously. But the separation score, along with details explanation & samples are spot on from what I've seen.
The only weakness of DxO are there are protocols involved, limited the camera full capabilities. But to be honest theres a lot of cameras that they have to test, so the protocols seems logical to save manpower lol.
At least base on that legit separation score, consumer got the idea & choices before buying what base on their wants & needs, as every person preferences are subjective.

AnonD-754814, 31 Mar 2020Yeah.. These dedicated macro lens on smartphones are useless. The greatest proof is Mi note ... moreWell, easy answer. Compositioning important for my photography style, therefore i've cropped it a bit base on my taste on those final images. So u will see different wide angle between photos lol.
'In sum, the Huawei P40 Pro's camera blows the competition out of the water. If you want the best camera in a smartphone, there is currently no better alternative.'
Great conclusion by DxO, along with the great sample pics. I still think RAW noise reduction on Mate 30 Pro got the best texture/noise control quality, up until today.
Shui8, 31 Mar 2020Thanks, UWA lens, at f2.2 (UWA on P30 Pro are superior than mine, will get way better result).... moreYeah.. These dedicated macro lens on smartphones are useless.
The greatest proof is Mi note 10 pro. It's main lens get's more detail than the macro.
I have a question about your samples. I know that to get the macro shot heavy sensor cropping is going on But why do the photos have very irregular(wide difference) resolutions ?
Anonymous, 31 Mar 2020I don't know the cameras with smaller sensors than micro 4:3 , maybe those sony things with th... moreActually I went for sony after comparing the prices and sensor sizes, shame it doesn't work in mobile space, should get better now however as alpha lab get to have a say in xperia hw/sw.
Utub comparison with 1II look still weak though, will see how it truly is after release.
AnonD-754814, 31 Mar 2020The photos are nice. Which sensor it was taken by ?Thanks, UWA lens, at f2.2 (UWA on P30 Pro are superior than mine, will get way better result). It has the most close focusing point, make it suitable for macro photography.
Thats why I think all those additional dedicated 'macro' lens with subpar quality are useless, when the tech to use it along UWA already here. Less camera will be used, with great quality results.
