It was exynos 8895 which was on the same level with the SD overall. Then everything went south with exynos. Exynos 9820 and 990 are just disastrous.

And then exynos just went downhill.

                        Oh dear, why Exynos??
                        I'd even take a SD765G over this poorly-engineered SoC with barely enough developer support any time of the day.
                        Well I guess Samsung is clearing up their stocks and is now selling these chipsets for a much lower price to the others.

                          Jaeger, 01 Apr 2020To their credit, Exynos 980 doesn't use Mongoose cores, but stock A77 cores. It should perform well.It does. The 2 high performance cores are Mongoose cores (theoretically matching the A77 cores), while the mid performance cores are the A75 cores.
