Apple's problem will be their pricing outside the US. In the US, this iPhone 9 at $399 is very inexpensive. But in many non-US markets, this phone will be priced more around USD $600-700, which puts it into the "almost flagship" category instead.

A new rumor...don't even think it'll be ever sold and especially due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Will rather wait a more compact version when iPhone 12 is launched (what is meant, should look like a smaller iPhone 12).
