What a joke, if your phone got no blemish or scratch they will buy it half the price. But if there is a hair line scratch $300 will be the most. Some sill go as low as $50. So dream on, if you think you can get any advantage on that deal.

It's the least Samsung should've done anyway for selling their phones at such ridiculous prices.
And after 2 years, Samsung stops providing OS upgrades anyway.

They should bin Bixby, and spend the R&D on imaging algorithms. If Nokia re-do the Lumia 1020, I'd be all over it. Loved the shape, loved the hump. Hell, in a case the hump was mitigated. Great colours too, and no glass back!

That is a fact. ... moreYour fact is completely true if we're speaking about the Note4 for example or anything below the S9/Note9. My Exynos Note9 is quite snappy compared to my Snapdragon Note4 but nevertheless I've tested its limits where I'm faster than the phone itself as I'm a power user and I've felt the capped performance. Because of this, my future phones will be Snapdragon exclusive despite this Exynos not being all that bad as everyone says it is unless Exynos really makes a comeback. After all, it is their own soc so I really don't understand why their home-grown silicon is inferior to the alternative.. Seems strange to even waste resources in the first place by making your own chip when it's worse than the competitor but this wasn't the case a few years back as the bottle-necked performance started around the time of the Note7 fiasco which has shown everybody that Samsung doesn't like to play with fire anymore like they used to lol

They will evaluate how insurance companies do it for you, always down. So your brand new overpriced S20 could end up being valued at $ 25 just two years later. For every deteriorated dot in the display and micro scratch detected in the miscroscope, internal corrosion or dirt, everything drops its value to the ground.
So at the end, this is a marketing trick more than anything else for increase sales. Two years later your deception will be great.

This is really remarkable. Samsung themselves are telling you plain and clear how much their phones will cost you per year: for a plain S20 that's a minimum of $250. MINIMUM. If it's maintained flawlessly. Compare that value with an iPhone whose software is maintained up to date for 5 (FIVE) years or more. The value of Android is abysmal and this crisis will kill all the mindlessly overpriced Androids and their manufacturers right along with them.

Good to see Samsung offering great resale value after 2 years.
Xperia flagships on the other hand give garbage resale value with worst battery life along with battery degradation.

If Samsung doesn't like the condition of your S20 it'll be worth only $25? I don't think this is a legit program at all. And the iPhones still retain more value as a S20 with the program (if it exists) if in good condition.
