Much higher than the previous and the latest android version. Why do you think O has the highest distribution rate? Here's the chart.

[deleted post]Where did you find this requirement I don't know.. Where android is supporting native 64 bit since android L if not android KitKat other than 64 bit emulator coding.. So you don't be this much worried..
[deleted post]25. And whether it came from the conference. The fact that google didn't say that the kitkat was a 64 bit OS means its using a 32 bit OS. Which is why using it at 2020 is gonna be a headache since majority of the android apps requires the latest version of android starting from android O to run apps perfectly.
SP3r3 Leader, 05 Apr 2020There was more talking about kitkat to become 64 bit since mid 2014.. And like I said before. If google didn't say it. It's not a 64 bit OS.
Foxtrot2Novmbr, 05 Apr 2020Since google didn't say that the kitkat is a 64 bit OS. It is still a 32 bit OS.There was more talking about kitkat to become 64 bit since mid 2014..

Foxtrot2Novmbr, 05 Apr 2020I forgot to mentioned previously. Is android lolippop until marshmallow even a 64 bit OS? Let alone newer two versions.. Even the KitKat supports the x86, ARM, and MIPS architectures in both 32-bit and 64-bit environments.

Well check yourself again.. But that doesn't matter.. Because Mediatek also did announce 64 bit processor in 2014 Q1.. So it's so obvious that by time Q4 2014, companies were going towards 64 bit chipsets. And from Q1, Q2 2015 it gained the mass market..
SP3r3 Leader, 05 Apr 2020Yeah that's right due to performance increases and efficiency.. And my question is why anyone ... moreYes. Android kitkat till lolippop supported 64 bit processors. But if you look at the majority of smartphones most aren't using qualcomm or an exynos processor which may have 64 bit API. So how can you be sure that majority of android chipsets during that time are already using 64 bit processors?
[deleted post]Yeah that's right due to performance increases and efficiency.. And my question is why anyone need to keep 32 bit smartphones this much longer when cheap android smartphones from late 2014 have 64 bit processors supported by KitKat and Lolipop. And after that 64 bit was a mandatory bandwidth of all category processors.. No worries for all of those are using 64 bit smartphones from that time..
