The G-series was meant to be a cheaper and more affordable version of the V-series, so I'm glad to see the ethos keeps rolling despite the new replacement line. I definitely don't mind Snapdragon 7-series chipset, they are more than sufficient enough for daily use.

Even Sony brings back that feature for their new Xperia 1 ii, so that tells something.

I was actually more happy that there was a way to downgrade back to older system, than having newest version.

Thats good news.
I dont need flagship processor just to surf net, chat and run few apps and phone.
Reduced prices with flagship design and elements sans most powerful processor sounds like a good deal for me.

Nobody should've bought from them after having their LG v20s, world's touted first android 7.0 out of the box, getting pie update during android 10 era.

Even security updates would have been a consolidation but lol none of that too.

$700 is still a lot of money for Snapdragon 765. 5G alone won't be able to raise the sales, it has to have other really good features to justify the price tag.
