Shadocx, 06 Apr 2020I'm wondering if pixel binning works with video too or just photos.I'm not sure about 4K recording, but 8K is definitely not since it need 33MP to do the job.

No one in Europe is going to pay 450 euros for a TCL phone.
What is going on? Has every phone company completely lost their minds? It's like they don't understand why the phone market is in decline.
They're charging way to much for minor upgrades

As far as I can remember... moreOf course, what I mean is you can use multi bayer or ordinary one... though small pixels got some disadvantages, sensor size and ability to squeeze some details using binning get you similar results with bonus of using single sensor and getting more detail based on circumstances.

I agree with you Dedicated night lens is the way forward instead of lame depth sensors
But it seems these manufacturers are still unware of this

Too expensive.
Nice design but no OIS for the cameras along with TCLs horrible support service equals a no buy.

vrvly, 06 Apr 2020Using big pixel size is also a way if they cannot do that with main sensor like huawei.In fact, any main sensor with Quad Bayer or Nona Bayer pixel binning. As far as I can remember, only OmniVision's OV48C sensor has the largest native non-binned pixel on any 48MP or even 64MP camera.

The camera setup of the Pro should be replaced by the one in 5G. Man, it's opposite...

The only worthy one is the 10 5G, has the best relationship quality/price of the bunch.
The 10 Pro is a joke
The 10L is decent but not enough.

A 5MP "low-light camera" with 2.9µm pixels for video? This should be worthy to try out since the last smartphone to have such feature is the Lenovo Z6 Pro, but that was just 2MP only.
