A curved screen design may also drive away some buyers, it is a decision for the phone-makers to make based on their understanding of the market.
Oh no, the cursed edge disease is spreading, it became stronger, we told you to kill it because it lay eggs !
AKW2020, 07 Apr 2020Hey, So what it should have? Pop-Up selfie?Exactly, pop up camera system is the best option, it allow true uninterrupted fullscreen AND privacy.
Other good solution are simple thin bezel and no front camera and a second display on the back.
Noooooooo!! Please no! Finally they go away from the stupid curve displays and now they are getting back to them??? Cons: cause unwanted presses, more fragile, degrades from the display legibility. Pro: 0, my hero.

I know it's easy to bash curved screens based on the limitations... moreCurved screen makes phone narrower compare to flat screen.
Less space inside.
It is worse.
It is weird that most of the articles that say about explosion of samsung phones were mostly edged devices. Samsung sells more low end and midranges, but explosions happen more to flagships.
If users don't break their phones fast enough to buy new ones, make more parts out of fragile materials!

Please make this phone and without the punch hole please Samsung
To the people wondering why do companies keep going for curved displays. It's to offer that bezelless display masses have been craving for. Having curves on the sides diminish side bezels. Having curves on the bottom & top will diminish the so called "chin" & "forehead" of these phones.
So whether you like it or not, it does serve a purpose. They're trying to create a truly bezelless phone with close to 100% StB ratio.
what's that good for? Rubbish! Worse than the worst!!!

I still have my galaxy note edge and the single curved edge is useful for notifications, clock, calendar, whether, music control and measurement tools, but all edges curved we have to wait and see what Samsung have in it's mind!
