China have invested heavily in education and R&D for decades. It was the same with Japan and Korea. It took decades of investment before you see the rewards.

Makes sense.Well, at least in the mobile segment, Huawei is the current camera innovator and Oppo-vivo in... everything else, except for displays, where Samsung is still the king. So, yeah, they are the driving force for innovations nowadays and not because of stealing but because they actually invest a lot of money in R&D. And I'm European be we should be realistic and give credit where its due.
