I would like to suggest a follow-up poll: "have you changed your smartphone upgrade plans due to COVID-19?"

Let us forget the potential economic implications of the virus. The simple fact that (for the foreseeable future) we will have restrictions over travel and even general mobility, severely undermines the value proposition of today's $/€500+ smartphones. Yes, I'm not even going into the flagship territory. If I am mostly confined to being home, even the "new" mid-range doesn't deliver good value when compared to laptops and other productivity devices that are more suited to this reality.

i rarely check my social media accounts/sites these days during this quarantine period because of all the tiktok shit here and there. more to gsmarena and reddit and some gaming.
