The battery graph thing is not a bug. The graph appears back once you charge the phone back to 100% after the update. Maybe has to do something with cache clearing during the update.

I've been wanting to own the V40, and now seems to look like a perfect time. I managed to find some refurbished examples being sold for about $200, which does sound like a steal compared to the V50 or even the latest V60.
