Wtf is LG doing? I just don't understand their strategy for their mobile division. It makes no sense to me.
SmartButCool, 10 Apr 2020I just can't understand LG strategy. If this is wants to rivel Mid range offerings at least it... moreI would like to get a single good camera instead of multiple mediocre cameras and yes I think this is actually a very good phone for 350$. SD845 is still a beast, it has IP68 rating,1440p OLED display only issue I see with this phone is battery they should have used a 4000 mAh battery
nope, i won't buy a phone unless it has both a top bar, notch + teardrop below that as well. I mean it's not like we have cheaper phones with near full front body ratio nearly bezel-less. oh wait...
marclee37, 10 Apr 2020i do not think japanese would have interest in such lower spec phone model. 64GB ram of st... more"i do not think japanese would have interest in such lower spec phone model" who the hell are you to say that? What gives you the right to say that a whole country wouldn't be interested? You obviously don't know a single thing about Japanese culture and yet you have the balls to claim that? Nice projection there.
Very nice.
Same chipset and less RAM than the Pocophone but more expensive two years later?
A PocoPhone F1 competitor!
And is FAR better than most of their mid rage garbage they have.
At last LG delivered a decent phone for that price!
Shanti Dope, 10 Apr 2020Overpriced? Dude, the Redmi K30 with inferior SD720G is costing around the same! And it loses... moreRedmi K30 is around US $280. For US $360, you will get Redmi K30,
RAFL, 10 Apr 2020A bit overpriced, but I would still consider buying it, just because it is compact and I like that.Overpriced?
Dude, the Redmi K30 with inferior SD720G is costing around the same! And it loses out on the display (1440p + OLED vs 120Hz)
Camera might be better on the Redmi, but nothing that GCAM couldn't fix for both phones.
It ain't got proper water resistance rating as well, so there's that.
Seriously dude, this is a considerably better buy than anything else in the mid range market today.
Imo instead of using latest mid-range chipset OEM should use at least 2 yrs old flagship chipset in mid range phones, so people can get decent performance rather than gimmicky performance.
Wish it didn't miss out on a 90Hz display, while the battery could've been a 4000mAh at least, but other than those things, I'm pretty sold for this thing!
Surely that 1440p OLED screen alone makes it an instant buy for me at $300. Add the IP68 water resistance rating and the still powerful SD845 and you get a powerhouse that would sell very well across the world (if proper marketing is done).
Wish it would get a global release as well. Perhaps I could consider this over the new budget iPhone.
RN, 10 Apr 2020And they still... kept the notch *facepalm*Oh boo hoo %70 of the smartphones 2019-2020 have either a notch or a punchole and y'all still actin like underdisplay is avaiÅŸable to even low-ends like shut up dude
max price for this device 210$
Not more

marclee37, 10 Apr 2020i do not think japanese would have interest in such lower spec phone model. 64GB ram of st... moreThats because this is not a flagship. Midrangers start from 64 and are up to 128 max
Why do all the writters in your website have a problem with a notch, and no problem with the ugly punchole in those Chinese phones? Please be objective guys
A bit overpriced, but I would still consider buying it, just because it is compact and I like that.
Flagship cpu and ip68 rating on a midranger is not bad at all.
Chip is good SD845, screen 1440p, compact phone, battery good enough, IP ratings, this is way better than todays midrange phones.
If LG put their quad DAC, and at least boomsound speaker if not dual speakers it is a perfect midrange phone.
