I've given up waiting for the newer 9.? Pureview. My 9 Pureview takes great raw photos but it just keeps freezing the whole phone & only having 2x & 3x zoom. It was so close to being so great with 5 cameras. I'm hoping the new Oneplus 8 pro will be good come Tuesday.

I hope, this time that the Nokia 9.3 will be able to take decent panorama pictures. Taking panorama pictures with today's Nokia 9 gives horrible redults.

Unless we have a genuine successor to the Nokia 7 Plus, I'm not interested. The 7.1/7.2 don't match up. The 8.1 I think was meant to be the successor but had a smaller battery. The 7.3 needs to either be a 7 Plus for 2020, or a proper 8.1 successor.

Look how spectacularly they failed at leveraging Light camera technology.

Actually the light's multi camera array setup provid... moreThey could've gone gone with better 12mp sensor that has much bigger pixel size, OIS would have been complex for a system that was already complex, Xenon flash. They could've used custom image processor to give faster imaging along with regular sd845. I believe Nokia 808 had a dedicated image processor. These things together could've been the best imaging technology on a phone.
They have to stop following the trend & should set the trend in camera.

LG Superfan, 11 Apr 2020If they want to sell they have to put telephoto and ultra wide camera True that, I definitely want to see a Nokia phone with triple wide/tele/ultrawide or quad wide/tele/ultrawide/ToF setup in the future. Even Motorola can give a quad camera with a 3x optical zoom tele camera for their midrange One Zoom.

But I would like to remember one important topic for everyone: HMD is not Nokia.
The old, great and awesome Nokia "died" when Micro$oft bought it.

That was the last time Nokia put a telephoto camera on their phone, and that was back in 2018. Don't expect periscope camera thingy as you mentioned in your first comment if they couldn't even bother to put a telephoto camera.

The Nokia 9 was a flop. The sales were due to the hype and after the deception the marked was plenty of cheap second hand units. The abandon of Light technology will confirm it then 9.3 will be relased.

As... moreAlready they are using SD660 in 7.2 so other 6xx SoCs would not worth the asked price.Chinese manufacturers are competing fiercy in this segment.Till now Nokia branding & Stock UI managed to attract niche customers to them.but now they are lagging far behind in terms of Camera,processing Power.It should come with SD720G/730G & with right pricing it will sell really well.
My dream Nokia phone 6.0-6.2" OLED FHD+90Hz,SD730/720,Good enough camera,4500 mAh battery.
I like Stock skins currently Xperia 10 ll is the best phone in mid range for me but Xperia does not sell in here.
Thats why other Stock UI options are just Nokia,Asus,Google.thats really sad.

Actually the light's multi camera array setup provides a more detail pics then other phones in day light instead of using a one large sensors. Hope new multi camera array from light and nokia solved the low light issues.

Nokia 9 was an ultimate success actually. At the moment of its announcement no other phone attracted more attention. It was made in limited numbers and was almost immediately sold out. It is a great phone with a great concept. Maybe a little too ambitious for the technology back then, because it was frequently accused of being too slow in processing images. Still, that was a really bold and experimental phone - one I would have bought if my budget allowed it.
