Anyways even if you are too lazy the Galaxy S20+ at the same price that have all those services is a better purchase too.

Apstef10, 11 Apr 2020In india the OP8 is 599euros and OP8 PRO is around 799euros. If these prices are in EU also... moreYeah, they had a limited time special for the OP7T at TMobile in the US for I think it was $300 for a new line of service. If ok with single SIM (I am not) that was a very good deal. They must have been clearing some inventory for the OP8.

Dell, no matter how good they actually are, this is very price sensitive market.
I believe that Oneplus Z, with MTK SoC, is coming to India very soon.
As soon as first bunch of OP 8+ is sell out to real brand fans.

May be Ill buy LG V60 ThinQ instead with that kind of money. That to me is a more practical device.

BrendonF, 11 Apr 2020If both prices are same I will choose One Plus anytime due the better software implementation ... moreMi 10 Pro Will be a little cheaper than OnePlus 8 pro.
Both phones are comparable. Although, my preference will be the OP8 pro among the two.

But the regular Mi 10 blows the OnePlus 8 out of the water at the 45k price range.
          OP8 sadly is just a rebranded OP7T with SD865.

The NM cards are twice as expensive as regular microSd.
P40 pro has lower resolution screen with lower refresh rate.
No play services out of the box. Even if you get it installed, banking apps, Netflix, games which require play services etc still won't work.

OP8 pro is much better than Huawei p40 pro.

So you have to pay 80 dollars extra for proprietary wireless charging pad?
                No thank you!
Also base variant pricing for the pro model might look attractive compared to other flagships but it has non expandable 128gb storage.

Find X2 pro looks like a much better buy with more internal storage, RAM, faster charging and periscope lens.

I hate the fact that they used to be affordable and now those who love OnePlus will seriously be upset including me. They should at least know that not everyone can afford iPhone but if the can afford flagship killer then they can bring down other flagship product down.

All these negative comments on this phone and you guys havn't even used the OP8 yet, there's no reviews out yet and here everyone is bashing the phone like they've seen and used it.

Oneplus has been out since 2014, why do you expect a company to stay flagship killer forever? you don't want them to improve? Do you expect to stay at the same wage at your job forever? If they don't do R&D and just use other people's tech then sure, stay flagship with cheap price, but that's not what they do anymore.

If you want flagship killer, there's alot of options now, Realme, Redmi and Xiaomi are great options. These company has taken Oneplus's place, and of course few years from now you people are going to bitch about Realme, Redmi, and Xiaomi for jacking up the price too.

You people ask for water resistant, everyone complaint there's no IP rating, so Oneplus gives that to us, and you guys are bitching about the punch hole selfie camera. Why dont you try and make a pop up camera with water resistant, see how reliable it is compare to no pop up.

The screen is another big thing on this OP8 that you guys forget, we havn't seen the display yet but it does have an A+ rating from display mate. 1.07 billion colors vs 16.7 million on other phones and Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation, 120hz with 1440p resolution and sample rate of 240Hz. (same as Find X2 Pro probably)

Camera is another new upgrade for this phone, IMX689 and the previous main camera IMX586 is moved to Ultra-wide.

Wireless charging, sure it's on many phones, but how fast do they charge? Samsung S20 Ultra only does 15W, OP8 gives us 30W of wireless charging.

I'm probably missing something, but after all those upgrades you expect the company to sell you a phone that's same price as last year's flag ship? give your head a shake.

I don't own a Oneplus just so you know i'm not a fanboy, i'm still rocking my XZ premium. Just reading people's comments are so ridiculous, someone mentioned OP8 is same price as Iphone 11, not sure why you need to compare a LCD screen vs OLED.

If these prices are in EU also then thats great, if the prices are 799 for the OP8 and 999 for the Pro model, then OnePlus are doing a serious mistake bc you can grap a Samsung with these prices and also an Iphone 11.

Btw OP8 is a huge dissapointment, i will probably buy the OP7T in a month.

So what I think that Android is so changed now, even cheap mobiles are quite smooth now a days and come with good hardware.
Mobiles in 25-30k range are having really nice processor, screen, camera and battery that you are not gonna complain for anything during your regular daily use. Unless you are super heavy and keen user that can notice every minute details like OS speed, camera image quality, screen refresh rate etc, there is no need to pay this huge amount of money for a overpriced phone. Think how many times you zoom a picture captured from your camera to notice tiny details, also can your eyes capture the extra refresh rate of screen or it is just a gimmick?
What experts say that if you pay more you get more feature in same proportion but after a certain point you start getting lesser for your price so for a mobile spending 25-30k is justified but after that you are just wasting your money.

Let's hope the YouTube reviewers etc who've been overlooking the various issues with OP devices recently, don't continue to overlook them now OP are charging Samsung/Apple prices for an inferior product. Samsung are already discounting the SG20's by 20% in the UK, who on earth would any sane person pay far more for an OP device, even in normal times let alone now when the whole of Europe is on its knees.
