Hopefully Google go for an improved sensor, though I'm worried that their fingers have been burnt. Worried they'll opt for a safe cheap midrange set of devices.

No differentiator from Samsung S10, I think it will do worse than 7 Pro, which with all the downside of popup camera was having a full display making it quite unique for 2019 and an alternative to Samsung.

The ONLY good point about the Pixel 4 is the 3D Facial recognition, and even there the software implementation is quite bad and it is sadly the default Android one...
Knowing the track record of poor design choice of Google, I don't think they would put amazing hardware, mainly they switched to a mid range SoC...
If you want to know which smartphone have the IMX689 or an equivalent autofocus tech, search for "omnidirectional PDAF" in the free text section of the phone finder :

I am not sure about the Huawei/Honor one (they apparently will come with the IMX700, maybe it have the same tech ?) but if you look at the phone, there are 2 Oppo and 1 OnePlus which is a sub brand of Oppo, so they may have the exclusivity on that sensor (or at least they are the first one to use it).
So I really don't think Google will have the IMX689.
I don't know how reliable the informations about the omnidirectional PDAF for the IMX700 is, and based on Kimovil (which isn't more reliable anyway), the Honor have an IMX650, it is only rumored that it will have the IMX700.
But well, appart form that, I don't know, those are rough analysis...
