LG is heading for an expensive mistake again. I hope they don’t do stupid stuff like add a Mediatek P series / SD 6 series processor and price it exorbitantly.

Looking forward to this range, as long as they keep the jack and quad DAC and dont go with a curved screen.

The fact that Samsung have gone all out on the A series shows the market is getting fed up with paying higher costs so I think this is a logical move if LG wants to get into the black. In Australia the carrier's used to offer good discounts on flagships with a 24m contract, now it's usually cheaper to buy the phone elsewhere then get a SIM only plan.

it's gonna fail, badly! outdated design, no innovation (at least on the exterior now but not hopefully with the internal too) and lousy naming and branding. bye LG (Long Gone)...

Someone from Brazil told me the Xiaomi mi note 10 costs more than what Samsung charges for s20+.
Something like 16% more.

Thats the reason why those products are far way cheaper compared samsung, apple, or honor.. this is the main point which people already forgot

Velvet sounds to be a name of a demonic creature like Valac or Valefar - it's super strange and unusual xD

Gorilla 5, 1080p, no sd slot, 8MP ultra wide, 2MP depth instead of ToF, no 4K60 or 4K30 HDR, no OIS, no jack , usb 2.0, no Qi charging and no IP rating

That is how you make a sub $700 flagship today. If they made a version that "corrects" this, phone would be more than $1000 too.

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2020Find X2 Pro = 1200 euros Mi 10 Pro = 1000 euros OP8 Pro = 1040 euros P40 Pro+ = 1400 euros ... moreI think he meant cheaper versions of flagships.

The iPhone 11 is the cheaper version of the Pro but it's still CAD $1027 for the 64GB version

The cheapest S20 is still CAD $1384 for 128GB model.

The pricing for non-chinese phones ARE wayyy higher. vs the other flagship phones like Realme X2 Pro which is $775 here for the 256GB model
Mi 9T pro $681 128GB version,
Oneplus 7T was $838 for 128GB
Redmi K30 Zoom 128GB with SD865 is only $1045

The point is, there are expensive flagships, and there's cheaper flagships, Samsung and iphone's only have expensive flagships.
