six_tymes, 13 Apr 2020can you remove the back doors? or no?To remove the spying backdoor, you'd need to remove Google's Android and any US based softwares out of the phone first.

I'd hate to have to pay for a new display in such a phone, it must be really expensive because of the flexing part in the middle...
Also, those non removable battery are stupid, we can and should make removable batteries, there are way to make them as large (capacity wise) as once inside they don't need to be hard as the old ones (they can stay "bendable" as the "recent" ones) and the whole thing can be made IP68 able anyway, the battery itself can serve as a seal and the connector having a joint around them + a thin membrane insulating the battery compartment from the rest of the phone, and voila, you have a replaceable waterproof battery...
Phone like this would heavily benefit from that, it even make the assembling process easier for the manufacturer as you only need to shove the battery inside the phone without any need to glue it !
But it arrange them that the components are hard to replace, because capitalism.
