The OnePlus 8 Pro packs Nokia OZO microphone tech Comments
I'll tell you, my 808 Pureview is still better than anything I ever tested in terms of audio recording, and that's with just 2 microphones on it.
This should work very favourably towards Oneplus.
But prepare to see the Oneplus 8 banned from Concerts, like my 808 is.

We need this all 3 of these technologies in all phones especially for phone CALLS.
Strange how my phone can clearly hear random noises / sounds from behind a few walls like 5 metres away or more but my caller can't properly hear me when I'm 6 inches away from my phone...

SpiritWolf, 15 Apr 2020Pretty sure that 808 does. ;-)That's really questionable. 808 was IMHO a beast, but when it comes to a raw audio quality, V60 sounds like a big step up.
Edit: I had to refresh my memory. Who am I kidding 808 is still incredible.

This means absolutely nothing. If not implemented right it will not work properly and that's the whole point of this mobile specing of things in Chinese OEMs and calling features names is noting but marketing jargon.

Sadly the microphone tech does not really shine in any sample video I saw.
It's pretty weak compared even to Samsung S20 series, let alone V60 ... but nobody beats V60 when it comes to audio capture.

YUKI93, 15 Apr 2020Is it exactly the same Nokia OZO microphone as in the Oppo Find X2 Pro, I wonder.Yeah. Stuff always filters down from Oppo phones to Oneplus. This technology was also on the Oppo reno 10x zoom last year
