Nice bait from Henry. I can't afford a device lacking in features at a high price. Not to mention I'm almost 4K mi away from India, with no Indian roots in sight
Also yeah. There's no option in the lines of "an older OLDER Oneplus is better". But yup, no one forces anyone to vote so it's better to move on...
Many people wanted water resistance and always speaked about it again and again. Now here you go more expensive phone with water resistance. It isn't free. So you pay extra for it.
CompactPhones5ever, 19 Apr 2020Really horrible and biased poll. The question in title is basically if OP is a good deal. My a... moreYes exactly. .Thanks to some MANUFATURERS now evrybody wil increae prices even if the total cost is just 40% of actual MRP. . Because of hiring highly paid filmstars and sportsman the onus then lies on consumer to cover that multi million endoresemnt fee. .the world will certainly b in debt while the rich will become richer
Quite WTF poll, I have to agree.
For me personally Oneplus has gradually lost its speciality - they are far too large in size and also the price is on the level of other big brands. If they would make a 500€ top spec device with 5.5" screen, then I would reconsider my opinion.
Are the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro a worthy upgrade ? No, too expensive
CompactPhones5ever, 19 Apr 2020Really horrible and biased poll. The question in title is basically if OP is a good deal. My a... moreTotally agree with you. Where is an answer option like 'I would never buy this shit at this abnormal price level'???

They trying to earn money on mi line, and offer cheap Redmi series. Like note 9 pro maks. Phone have quad 64 mp camera,32 mp front,6/64 gb, 5020 battery with 33w fast charger, gorilla glass 5 front and back, splash resistant, full HD screen, sd 720g 8nm soc which can handle every task, and everything that for 250€. I don't se the point to pay extra 700€ for something else.
Can't there be some option: I don't like them?? Or I will be forced to choose some of them like now?

Yes, we can see that, but how about explaining the no-voters?
Really horrible and biased poll. The question in title is basically if OP is a good deal. My answer is NO, but the poll options are basically: yes, yes, yes and "not sure yet".
Really gets my noggin jogging, makes you wonder if gsmarena also got some money from OnePlus just so they can put up this fake poll and then post something like "fans haven't given up on OnePlus yet". Most fans did, the 'flagship killer' hype is dead, now they're just another average flagship. Go home.

People think having the same SoC makes phones equivalent to each other. They don't realize the importance of the other components. OnePlus 8 Pro is a flagship in all aspects. That makes it special.
Seriously! What the heck is with your options?! They're extremely biased and leading almost every single time.
Start using Yes/No polls if you can't give reasonable choices. Such polls are starting to get shitty.
Let me just say this: the most expensive Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G cost exactly the same as the most expensive OnePlus 8 Pro, but I'm not seeing QHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, USB 3.1 and even IP68 rating in the Xiaomi. The Xiaomi's only bragging rights is the Samsung-developed 108MP camera sensor and the 8K video recording that a lot of people still doesn't embrace yet.
Honestly, I don't mind paying $1000 for the OnePlus because I know where the money was spent. But $1000 for a Xiaomi? No thanks, you have to be a total fanboy to spend that much money on a Xiaomi, and this is coming from someone who did own a Xiaomi smartphone before.
Where's the option " The price is Too God Damn High, not interested"
Not even trying to hide it anymore. Where is the option that reads: "Not interested in any way"?
