Bruh imagine pairing an LCD with the Snapdragon 865. What a terrible combo.

I have very little hope about this, but I really really hope it doesn't have a hole or notch !

For the fingerprint sensor on the side, I have mixed feelings, as much as I respect this tech and all who want it, and the fact it is practical as your finger naturally is on it (well in theory, in reality it depend on how you handle your phone, I personally grab it low, meaning my thumb is lower than the power button of my OnePlus 6t which have it on an average position), but also that this is a rare tech, and as most rare thing, this is pleasant to see more of those.
But it have the issue of only reading a thin part of the fingerprint, BUT, that isn't the fault of the sensor itself, more about this obsession of making phone as thin as possible even though there is still a camera bump on the rear, if the phone was a thick as the phone + camera bump, the lateral fingerprint scanner would make more sense, also we would get a seriously upgraded battery capacity, as the added volume will literally grow from the part where there is the biggest area, the phone will also get a better cooling solution (also meaning faster quick charging as the temperature is the limiting factor), more space for better tech and less cost as it would be less difficult to manage the internal space, all that with a minimum additional cost since the sides and the structure would grow from a low surface area (as from this perspective they are thin)...
I think this is stupid to put lateral fingerprint scanner on a thin an ultra phone, well ultra thin phone are stupid anyway, more thicker phone should be made, and I am not talking about a brick like the "Energizer Power Max P18K Pop" monster, just about a phone as thick as its camera bump, which would also make the phone more stable on hard and flat surfaces.
If only they could use an ultrasonic one which would compensate for the lower scanning area with its added capacity and ability to reach deeper near the edges compared to capacitives...

But regardless, this phone look promising, mainly for this price.
We can talk about a flagship killer here, if it had an indisplay fingerprint scanner, I'd buy it for my GF (who prefer this kind of FPS, and so do I), but for now it will probably be the European K30 Pro (Mi 10T Pro ?) for her...

And that's pleasant to see a phone with something really different from the rest of the phones.

And considering that apparently, high refresh rate on Oled is expensive and this phone is planned to be as cheap as possible for a SD865, it is indeed highly likely an LCD panel, since only Xiaomi developed an IR UD FPS capable of scanning through LCD for the moment and there isn't any news that I am aware of about other doing the same, side fingerprint scanner and low price while having 144Hz is a strong indication of an LCD.
