.alpha, 20 Apr 2020How to order phone from India and ship to US?You could try ordering it from Amazon's India website. Whether they'll ship to the U.S. is anyones guess... Most products they will ship internationally... But a high value item like this will probably only ship via DHL or FedEx with tracking... But that will up the overall price by around $200 - $300 (including import fees)

And for that shit you better buy a cheaper phone or wait one year for good offers, even two. And that doesn't include OnePlus as they always discontinue the previous product with a low stock and still near the release price.

Looks too tall. Is this the future of smartphones, growing tall with each release?

Lots of comments are targeting western vs Indian or SE vs 8 pro pricing.
I don't know how the tax system works in US or EU but in India assembled/manufactured units are subject to much less tax than CBUs. When Apple increased the prices of iphone 11 series and 8 series due to higher custom duty, XR and 7's price was unchanged. In future, the price of SE might go down if local assembly starts. Oneplus has manufacturing base in India so can maintain low price levels.
Can someone from US or EU comment on their Tax system?

The Indian price is lower because Indians won't forgive them if they launch at the US price.
India is a very price sensitive market while US/Global is a value/quality sensitive one.

I thought OnePlus was done for when I saw US pricing. But not in India, they now will sell like hot cakes.
Here in India, the base Galaxy S20 is 20% more with useless Exynos Chipset, while iPhone is like 70-100% more. Oneplus will remain the top choice in this price range.
