So, whoever buys a One+ in other western markets is indirectly financing my smartphone by a small amount?
I don't know what to feel about this...
Sorry and Thank You???

indlvarn, 19 Apr 2020If they think I will buy phones with such a price, even if I'm able to do it, they are wrong. ... morenow u know, this is how Indian and Chinese consumers feel like. iphones cost straight 40% more at launch even when these are manufactured in these 2 countries, and cost as much as like US after 2-3 years of their launch. btw, the latest budget iphone se, which is a 5 year old design, is still dear by 500inr compared to this flagship. I'm not trying to compare apples with oranges btw.
Londoner2018, 19 Apr 2020Hello, Do you know any trustworthy sites to order from China or India. Thanks Don’t do it from India! China you may about to do it but eventually VAT, Customs charges lack of support may spoil your purchase! If someone visits India ask them to get otherwise don’t order online
And don't forget, this Indian prices are including taxes...unlike USA and Europe where taxes are separate...!

Whackcar, 19 Apr 2020It seems OnePlus's drastic price increase is only limited to North America & Europe. That ... moreIf they think I will buy phones with such a price, even if I'm able to do it, they are wrong. I will wait for big discounts or buy an year-old flagship.
Incredible, in Poland OP8 starts from 800 dollars and OP8 Pro from 1000... Ridiculous how prices are picked up in Europe and US.
It seems OnePlus's drastic price increase is only limited to North America & Europe. That is a controversial yet sensible move. It grants OnePlus more profits in those regions while also making their phones affordable to their Asian userbase.
This pricing strategy is certainly better than Apple's or Samsung's, which are overpriced all over the globe.
Such a good price while in Europe it is 999 Euros.
They priced it this way because lots of competition in Indian market, and phones are cheap. So OnePlus has to be careful not to price them exorbitantly
Nice pricing....Didn't expect such a huge difference from US pricing ...but will definitely take it
If there's any brand I'm a fan of, it's Xiaomi, but man, did they shoot their own foot with this years pricing or what? Imagine them trying to compete with OnePlus, Oppo and Huawei (and Honor) in the premium segment. There isn't a single market where they've got the most affordable prices and the devices just aren't that good.
Mi 10 Pro loses to 8 Pro in just about every category even on paper, and it's even worse in practice (it doesn't even use its zoom hardware for video, for example, and dual speakers don't seem to be much better than regular stereo setups). Faster wired charging is the only thing I can think of.
Maybe that makes them lower the existing prices and release Poco F2 at a low price, well under $400.
That's really nice pricing....huge difference from US prices...China and India are the places where OnePlus can't lose their dominant position..so the lesser price justifies for itself.....
nice
